The ST-IMB torque-force meter is a precisions electronic instrument. The unit measures the dynamic chuck application torque and topload on the capper machine even at normal production speed, during the production. Till now this measurement was not possible at all, as there was no way to do test on an operating capper machine.

The Intelligent Measuring Bottle measures both torque and topload, with selectable frequency in the range of 100-400 Hz. After finishing the test the instrument displays the maximum of the measured torque and force, plus the torque-time and force-time diagrams on the OLED screen.

The results can be stored, the memory can store 18 measuring results together with diagrams. The stored data’s can be transferred to PC with RS-232 cable. 
The neck finish part can be changed accordingly to the customer’s container. This part is easily changeable by 2 screws. 
As on the PET lines the container is being fixed by the neck support’s sharp edges, the neck ring can damage after a while. This neck ring part can be easily replaced if it gets worn off. We provide both aluminium and PET made neck rings.
